Bridgeville Man Arrested after Scuffle with Capitol Police

A Bridgeville man has been arrested by Capitol Police in Georgetown after learning he was wanted on a variety of charges out of Superior Court. When Capitol Police contacted 39 year old Andre Jackson, he resisted arrest and tried to strike the officers. Jackson was committed on the warrant to SCI and Capitol Police have charged Jackson with 4 counts of 2nd degree assault, resisting arrest and other offenses. He’s being held in default of over $23,000 secured bail. Three Capitol Police officers and a bailiff were examined and released by medial personnel.
