October 24, 2025/
Cambridge Police are investigating a bank robbery that happened Wednesday morning at the M&T Bank on Sunburst Highway. Officers say an African American male wearing a dark colored sweatshirt with colorful writing on the front entered the bank and approached a bank teller demanding money, then left with an undisclosed amount of cash. Police say he fled in a dark-colored car, possibly a Toyota Camry or Honda Civic, heading toward Washington Street. A tracking device hidden in the stolen money led officers to recover a discarded bundle of cash near Woods Road and Route 50. Investigators believe the suspect may be connected to recent bank robberies in Hurlock, Maryland, and Seaford, Delaware. Anyone with information is asked to contact Cambridge Police at 410-228-3333.
