Cape Henlopen Senior Center Receives $1-million in Federal Funding for New Center

The Cape Henlopen Senior Center is celebrating its 60th anniversary and this week US Senator Lisa Blunt Rochester announced $1-million in federal funding to construct a new facility on six acres of land on Hebron Road in Rehoboth Beach. The Center has outgrown its current location on Christian Street, which will eventually become the new home of the Clear Space Theatre Company. Construction of the new senior center has been delayed due to economic restraints, but this Congressionally Directed Spending will help to move the project along.
