The 512th Airlift Wing at Dover Air Force Base is under new command today.  Col Gregory Haynes assumed command of the 512th on Saturday – succeeding Col Craig Peters who departed the Liberty Wing in April.  The 512th Airlift Wing is an Air Force Reserve Command associate wing.  Established as the 512th Troop Carrier Wing in 1949, the Liberty Wing has been stationed at Dover since 1973.
