Chicken Truck Overturns in Crash Near Greenwood

Just before midnight a 28 year old Harrington man driving an Explorer ran a stop sign at Shawnee and Staytonville Roads east of Greenwood causing a live haul tractor trailer to overturn. Delaware State Police say both drivers were taken to Milford Memorial Hospital – and charges are pending against the Harrington man. Crews were on the scene cleaning up the chickens until 3 this morning.
