Crash Involving Dump Truck Near Millsboro

Emergency crews responded early this morning to a reported rollover crash in the Millsboro area involving an overturned dump truck. The Millsboro Police Department tells the Talk of Delmarva that dump truck owned by SV Trucking was traveling East on Route 24 and was fully loaded with Sand. The driver was turning right onto the bypass to head south on US 113 when he lost control of the vehicle and it turned on its side. The load was dumped onto the roadway and the roadway was shut down for a period of time. The driver was issued a traffic summons for careless driving and no injuries were reported.
