UPDATED: Crash on Mount Joy Road Near Millsboro Under Investigation

UPDATED – 9:30am – Delaware State Police say a 26-year-old Georgetown man was the operator of the Ford and was not injured. He was issued a ticket for DUI, careless driving, driving without a valid license, no registration in possession, and no insurance in possession.

Indian River emergency personnel were called for a vehicle crash Friday night just after 9:30 on Mount Joy Road east of Millsboro. Officials say an Explorer left the roadway in the area of Maryland Camp Road, overturned and ended up in the trees. One occupant in the Explorer was evaluated – the other occupant left the scene.
Delaware State Police are investigating.
