Emergency personnel was called for a two vehicle crash on Route 13 in the area of Woodyard Road north of Greenwood around 6 Saturday evening.  Delaware State Police say a Kia was in the crossover waiting to turn north on Route 13 when the driver, a 70 year old woman from Greenwood, pulled into the path of a northbound Explorer driven by a 33-year-old Brooks S. Perry from Camden-Wyoming.  The Explorer traveled over 300 feet through the median rolling over multiple times ending up on its roof in the southbound lanes. Perry was properly restrained and pronounced dead at the scene.  The driver of the Kia was properly restrained and treated for non-life threatening injuries at Bay Health Sussex Campus and released.  Impairment on her part is not a factor.  A passenger in the Explorer was not properly restrained and was ejected.  He is in critical condition at Christiana Hospital.  Route 13 was closed for about 4 hours while the crash was investigated.
