UPDATED: Crash West of Dover Thursday Evening Leaves 1 Dead & 1 Injured

ORIGINAL STORY – 07/4/25 – A Dover woman is dead after a crash in the area of Forrest Avenue and Birchfield Drive west of Dover around 6 Thursday evening. Delaware State Police say the 76 year old female driver of a Honda stopped for a stop sign on Birchfield Drive but failed to remain stopped and entered Forrest Avenue in the path of a Hyundai driven by a 17 year old male from Marydel. Both drivers were taken to an area hospital. The 76 year old woman was pronounced dead. The 17 year old was treated for non-life threatening injuries. The investigation is continuing.聽聽
