Crisfield Home Damaged by Fire Sunday Night

Crisfield firefighters were called for house fire Sunday night just after 10 on Calvary Road. A neighbor called in the blaze at the two-story home. Investigators with the Maryland State Fire Marshal’s office say the fire began inside the home on the first floor.
Officials say there was no smoke alarm present in the home.
The cause remains under investigation. Damage is estimated at $19,000.
