UPDATED: Dagsboro Man Sentenced for Multiple Rapes & Attempted Murder


UPDATED – 1-19-18 – A Dagsboro man has been sentenced to 90 years in prison after he was convicted for a number of crimes against a series of women in 2015 and 2016.  Officials say 31 year old Temourise Taylor pleaded no contest to several charges, including 2nd degree rape and was found guilty of attempted 1st degree murder, 2nd degree rape and other related offenses.  Should Taylor ever be released, he would be placed on home confinement followed by probation and GPS monitoring.


ORIGINAL STORY – 11-6-17 – A serial rapist from Dagsboro has been convicted of rape and attempted murder. Delaware Attorney General’s office announcing they secured the conviction of 31-year old Temourise Taylor, and he will serve a minimum 25 years behind bars. Taylor was convicted of 4 rapes that occurred in 2015 and 2016; prosecutors say Taylor would lure women into his car, take them to a secure location, then rape them. In December 2016 Taylor stabbed a victim after she resisted his attempts. Taylor will be sentenced in January, and faces a minimum sentence of 25 years, and up to a sentence of life plus 33 years.
