DE House of Representatives passes gun violence prevention act

Delaware’s House of Representatives passing a bill aimed at curbing gun violence in the state. House Bill 302, known as the Beau Biden Gun Violence Prevention Act, establishes procedures for law enforcement agencies and mental health professionals to determine a person to be a threat to themselves or others, and as a result confiscate firearms and restrict their access to firearms. The bill passed unanimously through the House and now heads to the Senate for consideration.
