Delaware joins the “States for Gun Safety” coalition. Governor John Carney announcing yesterday the newly-minted multi-state partnership will share data across state borders, crack down of gun trafficking and give law enforcement more tools to stop gun violence. The coalition was created earlier this month, and is made up of New Jersey, New York, Connecticut, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Puerto Rico. The coalition will create a task force to find ilegal weapons, share information about people prohibited from purchasing or possessing firearms in each state, and perform research to create recommendations for reducing gun violence.
