Delaware legislators looking to start ‘Clean Water Trust’
January 16, 2018
Delaware General Assembly will debate whether or not the state should set up a Clean Water Trust. The proposed legislation says it would set up a dedicated trust fund to help enhance and accelerate Delaware’s efforts in cleaning up contaminated water resources. The funding would come from partially from current sources, as well as an increase in the personal income tax, which would be capped at $40 for individuals and $80 for joint filers.
