Delaware School Board Elections are Tuesday
Delaware School Board elections take place on Tuesday. While historically decided by a small share of eligible voters – these are the people who govern our local school systems. School boards are responsible for setting priorities, approving multi-million dollar budgets, policy-making and overseeing district leadership. The decisions of the local school boards influence how resources are used and how statewide education priorities are implemented at the local level. Your vote counts!
There are several Sussex County school districts with elections on Tuesday – including Delmar and Milford. Polls will be open on Tuesday from 7am to 8pm.
