Delaware State Police Arrest Dover Man for Liquor Store Burglary


A 36-year-old Dover man who was already at Sussex Correctional Institution for burglary is facing new charges. State troopers learned that during the overnight hours on September 17th, several bottles of liquor were removed from Woodside Liquor Warehouse on South Dupont Highway in Dover after forced entry through a window. During the investigation, detectives learned of a similar burglary that occurred in the City of Dover on September 18th. State Police, working with Dover Police Department detectives identified Robert Young, Jr. as the suspect and obtained a warrant for his arrest.聽 Young faces several new charges, was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and released on his own recognizance, however, remains committed at Sussex Correctional Institution on the other burglary charges.
