Delaware State Police Arrest Dover Woman for 5th Offense DUI and Resisting Arrest


Delaware State Police arrested a 42-year-old Dover woman following a crash on Main Street in Felton on April 21st. Troopers say Ashley Green showed signs of impairment, refused to exit her vehicle, and resisted arrest, including spitting on officers, before being taken into custody. Authorities confirmed she has four prior DUI convictions and she now faces felony 5th offense DUI, felony resisting arrest, and additional charges. She was later committed to Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $12,003 secured bond.

Green was taken to Troop 3, where she was charged with the crimes listed below, arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7, and committed to Delores J. Baylor Women’s Correctional Institution on a $12,003 secured bond.

  • Resisting Arrest with Force or Violence (Felony)
  • Offensive Touching of Another with Saliva, Urine, Feces, or Other Bodily Fluid – 4 counts
  • Crash Related Traffic Charges
