Delaware Tourism Office Announces Statewide Watch Parties for World Cup 2026™ Matches

The Delaware Tourism Office is planning four statewide watch parties for the FIFA World Cup 2026 as nearby Philadelphia prepares to host matches this June. Delaware is partnering with Philadelphia Soccer 2026 as an official promotional partner. Events are scheduled in each county, along with a World Cup Final watch party in Newark. Governor Matt Meyer says the events are designed to bring communities together, support local businesses, and allow Delaware residents to take part in the World Cup experience close to home. Organizers say matches will be shown on large screens with pre-game activities. Philadelphia officials estimate the World Cup could generate hundreds of millions of dollars in regional economic impact.

The watch parties are scheduled for:

  • June 12: USA vs. Paraguay at the Bob Carpenter Center in Newark

  • June 20: Germany vs. Ivory Coast at Hudson Fields in Milton

  • June 26: Uruguay vs. Spain at the Delaware State Fairgrounds in Harrington

  • July 19: The World Cup Final at Delaware Stadium in Newark
