DelDOT Announces Permanent Closure of Devon Road at Mill Pond Acres

Devon Road at Mill Pond Acres in the Lewes area will be permanently closed beginning the night of Tuesday, September 2nd as part of Phase 2C of the SR 1 Minos Conaway Road project. According to DelDOT, the closure will occur when the contractor installs a pinned barrier wall as part of Phase 2C of the SR 1 Minos Conaway Road project. This change is being implemented to improve safety, eliminate crossover access from SR 1, and support clearing and grubbing operations for the next construction phase. No local detour will be in place. Motorists should plan to use alternate routes.
