DelDOT Traffic Alert: Bridge Rehabilitation Project in Frankford Area to Resume
In the Frankford area, Armory Road/SR. 20 between Dukes Road and Omar Road will be temporarily closed starting on Monday, October 27th at 7:00am. According to DelDOT, the closure will continue until Monday November 3rd at 7:00am. Crews will complete a bridge rehabilitation project that began earlier this year and was paused through the summer months. This last part of the project is to smooth out the riding profile at each approach of the bridge. Local businesses and residences will remain accessible from the detour routes during this closure.
Detour聽– Drivers wanting to head north on SR 20 will turn onto Omar Road heading westbound, then take a right on Honolulu Road, then right onto Clayton Avenue, then right onto Vines Creek Road and back to SR 20.
Drivers wanting to head south on SR 20 will turn onto Main Street heading southbound, then take a left at Honolulu Road, then left on Omar Road and back to SR 20.
