DelDOT Traffic Alerts for Frankford Area
Road Closure of Hickory Street
Hickory Street in Frankford will be fully closed due to the resurfacing and performing general maintenance of the crossing of that road beginning at 5:00 am on Monday, May 1st. The closure will be in place 24 hours per day. DelDOT expects the work to be completed and the detour lifted no later than 10:00 pm on Thursday, May 4th (weather permitting).
Detour Information
Eastbound: US 113 to Clayton Street to Main Street to Clayton Avenue back to Hickory Street.
Westbound: Clayton Avenue to Main Street to Clayton Street to US 113 back to Hickory Street.
New Traffic Signal–Lane Closures
Intermittent lane closures will go into effect overnight on Tuesday, April 25th for the activation of a new traffic signal on Route 113 at Daisey Street and Blueberry Lane. DelDOT asks that you remember to use caution while traveling in work zones.
