Delmarva Power proposes to offset Maryland rate increases
February 13, 2018
Delmarva Power wants to reduce rates for its Maryland customers. The utility company filing plans to cut rates by about $3.82 per residential electric customer. If approved, the reductions would go into effect in March. However, the reductions may not be readily apparent, as they will mainly offset a rate increase approved by the Maryland Public Service Commission last month. Last week, Delmarva Power announced Delaware ratepayers will see a decrease in their monthly bills between $3 – $4.60.
