DE’s FY 2019 Budget Approved and Signed
No race for the midnight deadline this year in approving and signing the FY 2019 Delaware Budget. Governor John Carney signed Senate Bill 235 on Thursday after it received final passage in the State House. The measure is a balanced $4.2-billion plan that makes investment in Delaware’s economy, workforce and public schools. It also appropriates funds for a one-time salary supplement to full and part-time state employees as well as pensioners and one-time funded priority projects.
