DNREC seeks nominations for 2018 Young Environmentalist Awards

DNREC looking for nominations for students who make a difference in the environment for the 2018 Young Environmentalist Awards.

Officials say the Delaware students should have taken actions of worked on projects between July of 2017 through June of 2018 that have helped protect, restore, or enhance Delaware’s Natural resources through environmental stewardship, innovative projects, increasing public awareness, or demonstrating environmental ethics.

One winner will be chosen from elementary, middle school, and high school age ranges. Nominations may be submitted by U.S. mail to Joanna Wilson, DNREC Public Affairs, 89 Kings Highway, Dover, DE 19901, or by email tojoanna.wilson@state.de.us.
