UPDATED: DOC Arrest Walk Away Near Greenwood

UPDATED  7/18/18 – On Tuesday, William Shelton was apprehended by Delaware State Police Troop 5 during an Escape Recovery Team mission to locate him. He walked away from a work group in the Greenwood area. Shelton was arraigned at JP Court 3 before he was committed to the Sussex Correctional Institution on an Escape 2nd charge in lieu of $2,000 cash bail.

Corrections officials are looking for an offender from the Sussex Community Corrections Center in Georgetown who ran off on foot into a wooded area while working community service near Adams Road in Greenwood.  Officials are looking for 19 year old William Shelton who is from the Greenwood area.  He is black, 5’ 6” and 150 pounds with brown eyes and black hair.  Shelton has tattoos on his chest and upper right arm.  He is serving a violation of probation on original charges of conspiracy and burglary.
