Dover Man Arrested During Firearms Investigation


Dover Police have arrested a 38-year-old Dover man during a firearms investigation. Derel Custis was taken into custody yesterday afternoon in the area of Fulton Street and North Queen Street. Officers found a concealed .357 revolver in his waistband. Custis is legally prohibited from possessing firearms. He was charged with possession of a firearm by a prohibited person and carrying a concealed deadly weapon. Custis was arraigned and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on $5,000 cash bail.
