Dover Man Arrested for Sexual Abuse of a Child
Dover Police have arrested a 56-year-old Dover man for sexual abuse of a child. During the month of July 2025, the victim reported to the Dover Police Department that Thomas Kennedy inappropriately touched them. Through the investigation, it was determined that Kennedy was known to the victim, who is a juvenile. The date/location, along with the age of the victim, are being withheld in an attempt to protect their identity. Warrants were obtained for Kennedy, and police made the arrest on July 30th. Kennedy was transported to the Dover Police Department, where he was processed and arraigned. Kennedy is at聽 SCI on $10,000 secured bail on charges that include Sexual Abuse of a Child By a Person of Trust and Unlawful Sexual Contact Second Degree.
