Dover Man Arrested on Forgery Charges in Milford

An arrest has been made by Milford Police after an investigation into bad checks that were written to two local businesses last summer.  Police arrested 44 year old David Johnson of Dover on Sunday on 2 counts of 2nd degree forgery and other offenses.  In both instances, Johnson cashed a check written out to him for cash and provided photo ID both times.  Both checks were returned as fraudulent.  Police also found Johnson is wanted on a warrant out of New Castle County.
