UPDATED: Arrest Made in Dover Murder

UPDATED   6/19/19 – Dover Police have made an arrest in a March 30th murder. The US Marshal’s First State Fugitive Task Force arrested 36 year old Jermaine Brown Tuesday at the Persimmon Tree Apartment complex in Dover on charges of 1st degree murder and other offenses. Another resident in the apartment, 26 year old Samantha Randall was charged with hindering prosecution and released on her own recognizance.

UPDATED  4/2/19 – The victim of a shooting that occurred on Weston Drive in the early morning hours of March 30th has died as a result of his injuries. 35 year old Tyrone Sampson was pronounced dead on Monday, April 1st after suffering a gunshot wound to his upper body on March 30th.

A 35 year old Dover man is in critical condition after a shooting early Saturday morning on Weston Drive near the Route 8 intersection.  Dover Police were called just before 4am for gunshots and found the victim with a gunshot wound to the upper body.  He was taken to a nearby hospital and remains in critical condition.  Police continue to investigate and ask anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers.
