UPDATE: Victim Identified; Dover Police Investigating Fatal Motorcycle Crash
UPDATE: The Dover Police Department has identified the victim from the fatal motorcycle collision that occurred on Sunday, May 11th, as Carlos Thomas of Dover. He was 58 years old. The collision remains under investigation.

A 58 year old Dover man is dead after a motorcycle crash early Sunday morning. Dover Police were called to the area of White Oak Road and Garrison Oak Drive where the located the victim in a field off the roadway after he was ejected from the motorcycle. Police attempted life-saving measures, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigation showed the motorcycle was westbound on White Oak Road when it left the roadway and struck a ditch and ejected the victim. Police do not know what caused the motorcycle to leave the roadway or whether alcohol or drugs contributed to the collision.
The victim was turned over to the Medical Examiner’s Office for investigation.
