Dredging to Begin Friday in Ocean City Inlet

Dredging is expected to begin in the Ocean City Inlet Friday. The Army Corps of Engineers vessel Murden will be onsite for about 15 days with the dredging to conclude at the end of this month – in time for the start of the White Marlin Open.
Maintenance dredging will focus on the priority area in the federal channel and bypass dredging will take material from the borrow area – the dredge material will be placed at the near shore placement site along Assateague.
