DSP Arrest Dover Man for Robbery

A 19 year old Dover man has been arrested for a robbery at the Dover Redner’s on Sunday evening just after 5:30. Police were called for a report of a carjacking and learned from the 20 year old male victim that a black male, wearing black clothes and a mask, approached him while he was sitting in his car and asked to use the victim’s phone. As he handed the phone to the suspect ā he punched the victim. The two got into a fight and the suspect took the victim’s phone and car after the victim ran into the store for help.
A witness to the incident followed the suspect to a residence on New Street where police arrested 19 year old Malik Woodall.Ā
Woodall is charged with the following offenses:
- 2nd degree robbery
- 3rd degree assaultĀ
Woodall was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 7 and was released on a $1000 unsecured bond.
