UPDATED: DSP Identify Ellendale Man as Victim in Fatal Shooting East of Millsboro
UPDATED – 06/16/25 – Family and friends of 19 year old Andree Mosley are mourning his death over the weekend. Mosley was a member of the Cape Henlopen High School Class of 2025. The District has posted the following
The Cape Henlopen School District is heartbroken to learn of the tragic loss of a graduate of the Class of 2025. Our thoughts and condolences go out to all the family, friends, teachers, teammates, and coaches who have been impacted. A sudden death can be an upsetting experience. UPDATED – 06/16/25 – Delaware State Police have identified 19 year old Andree’ Mosley Jr. of Ellendale, Delaware, as the man who died in the fatal shooting early Saturday morning in Millsboro.

ORIGINAL STORY – 06/14/25 – A 25 year old man has been arrested after a shooting at a home on Rivers Edge Drive in the Stonewater Creek development east of Millsboro. Police found a 19 year old man outside the residence with gunshot wounds – he was pronounced dead at the scene – two other men also outside the residence were found with gunshot injuries and taken to an area hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Police found Harris inside and arrested him without incident. Investigation showed that the men were at the residence with a female occupant who knew the 19 year old and Harris. The 19 year old got into an argument with the woman who wanted him and the other 2 men to leave and a fight occurred between Harris and the 19 year old during which Harris shot him and fired at the other two men. The woman was not injured.
Harris was transported to Troop 7, where he was charged with the following crimes:
- Murder First Degree (Felony)
- Attempt to Commit Murder First Degree – 2 counts (Felony)
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony – 3 counts (Felony)
Harris was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 3 and committed to the Department of Corrections on a $480,000 cash bond.
