UPDATED: DSP Investigating Crash that left a Camden-Wyoming Man Dead

UPDATED – 12/22/25 – Delaware State Police have identified 84-year-old Joseph Mogle, of Camden-Wyoming, as the man who died from injuries sustained in a fatal crash on Saturday evening in Camden-Wyoming.

ORIGINAL STORY – 12/21/25 – An 84 year old Camden-Wyoming man is dead after a crash Saturday evening on Westville Road around 6. Delaware State Police say the 84 year old driver of a Suburban attempted to pass a RAM towing an enclosed utility trailer and sideswiped the driver’s side of an on-coming Ford – then struck the front driver’s side of the RAM. The Suburban went off the roadway, struck a tree and caught fire. Police say the driver of the Suburban was pronounced dead at the scene.

Neither of the other drivers was injured.
