UPDATED: DSP Investigating Deadly Crash North of Seaford

UPDATED – 10/28/19 – Delaware State Police have identified the driver who died in a crash on Sunday, October 27 on Bridgeville Highway north of Seaford, as 45 year-old William Miller of Seaford. The crash continues to remain under investigation.

Delaware State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash this morning involving a pickup truck on Bridgeville Highway north of Seaford. Police say the pickup was driven by a 45 year old William D. Miller, of Seaford, who missed a sharp curve. His truck went off the roadway into a construction site where it struck a dirt pile and overturned several times – coming to rest on the roof – on top of a stack of new, unused sewer piping. Police do not know when the crash occurred, but it was called in after daylight – just before 8am. Police are asking anyone who may have witnessed the crash to contact Troop 7 in Lewes – 302-644-5020 or Crime Stoppers – 800-TIP-3333.
