DSP Investigating Fatal Crash Thursday Morning near Millsboro

A Millsboro woman is dead after a three vehicle crash on Hollyville Road east of Millsboro. A Taurus was northbound on Hollyville Road near Harmony Cemetery Road just after 9 Thursday morning and lost traction in a curve and began to rotate – crossing the center line into the path of a Hyundai Tucson. A Jeep Cherokee traveling behind the Hyundai tried to avoid the crash, but also struck the Hyundai.

Delaware State Police say the driver of the Taurus, 18 year old Paishence Young of Millsboro was not wearing a seatbelt. She was taken to an area hospital where she died. Neither of the other drivers was injured.
