UPDATED: DSP Arrest Milton Man in Robbery at Milton Valero

UPDATE – 11/28/25 –聽A Milton man has been arrested in connection with a robbery Monday morning at the Valero on Deep Branch Road in Milton. Investigation by Delaware State Police identified 29 year old Donald Tinley, Jr., as the suspect. Tinley was arrested on Wednesday at a Milton area residence. Tinley聽was taken into custody without incident and transported to Troop 4, where he was charged with the offenses listed below:
- Robbery Second Degree (Felony)
- Wearing a Disguise During the Commission of a Felony (Felony)
- Theft of a Motor Vehicle (Felony)
Tinley was arraigned by Justice of the Peace Court 2, and committed to Sussex Correctional Institution on a $10,500 cash bond.

ORIGINAL STORY – 11/24/25 – Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery Monday morning at the Valero gas station on Deep Branch Road in the Milton area. Police were called around 11am and investigation shows that an unknown suspect entered to store, went behind the counter and demanded the clerk remove the money from the registers. The suspect then took the clerk’s car keys and left with an undisclosed amount of cash and the clerk’s vehicle. Police located the vehicle a short time later on New Hope Road in Ellendale. The suspect is a white male and wore a face covering.
