DSP Investigating Shooting Incident on Route 13 Near Laurel

A shooting early Sunday morning in the Laurel area is under investigation by Delaware State Police. Troopers were called to northbound Route 13 between Delmar and Laurel around 2am after a vehicle was struck by gunfire. Police learned that a Camry was northbound in the left lane when a black male suspect in a silver 4-door Chrysler sedan in the right lane fired several rounds at the Camry. Police say there were no reported injuries.
