UPDATED: DSP Identify Victim in Single Vehicle Crash north of Delmar

UPDATED – 11/15/25 – Delaware State Police have identified 30-year-old Jeremy Mitchell, of Georgetown, Delaware, as the man who died in the fatal crash on Thursday in Delmar.

ORIGINAL STORY – 11/14/25 – Delaware State Police are investigating a single vehicle crash that occurred just after 5 Thursday evening on Route 13 north of Delmar. Police say that for unknown reasons a pickup truck was northbound on Route 13 when the driver went off the west side of the roadway, crossed the median and entered the southbound lanes – leaving the roadway and striking a tree. The driver – a 30 year old Georgetown man was pronounced dead at the scene.
