UPDATED: DSP Investigation in Area of East Atlantic Apartments near Rehoboth Beach
UPDATED: 07/17/22 – 3:45pm – Delaware State Police were called to a wooded area on East Atlantic Circle where they found the body of a male victim. This is an area where the homeless frequent. The victim was pronounced dead at the scene and his body turned over the the Division of Forensic Science for autopsy.
Police say there is no threat to public safety and notification of next of kin is pending.

Delaware State Police are currently conducting a criminal investigation in the area of East Atlantic Apartments near Rehoboth Beach. As a result, an increased police presence will be seen in the area.
This investigation is in the early stages and is ongoing. Additional information will be released once it becomes available.
