DSP Looking for Laurel Area Man for Multiple Burglaries

Delaware State Police are looking for a Laurel man in connection with multiple burglaries in the Seaford and Laurel areas.  Police were called to a home on Atlanta Road in Seaford in February and learned the same home had been burglarized on three different occasions.  The suspect forced his way into a detached garage and took several items and tools.  Several of those items were pawned – and police learned the suspect is 38 year old Curtis Downes.  In late February a home on Bi-State Boulevard in Laurel was burglarized – tools and power equipment was taken – and pawned by Downes at the same pawn shop.  Police are looking for Downes, who is known to frequent the Laurel area.  If you know where he is – contact Crime Stoppers – 800-TIP-3333.
