DSP Mourn Passing of K9 Nova

Delaware State Police are mourning the passing of K9 Nova. Nova was a 5-year old German Shorthaired Pointer – the first of that breed in the K9 Unit.
During her 2 ½ year career with Cpl Mark Malloy at Troop 7, K9 Nova served with honor and distinction – and was certified in explosive detection. She assisted with numerous large-scale events and was a crowd favorite at Canine demonstrations statewide.
Rest in Peace, K9 Nova.
