Early Morning Fire West of Fenwick Island on Lighthouse Road

Firefighters from Roxana were called to North Bay Marina on Route 54/Lighthouse Road near Roxana early this morning for a structure fire. Crews arriving at the scene just after 4am found smoke showing and multiple fire companies were called to assist.  Officials from Bethany Beach Volunteer Fire Company say inside the building a boat caught fire.

Fire crews from multiple companies helped to put out the fire or provide back up.  Firefighters were on the scene for over 90 minutes.

The State Fire Marshal is investigating.
