Early Saturday Morning Crisfield Fire Under Investigation

Firefighters in Crisfield were called for a structure fire just after 1:30 Saturday morning. When crews arrived at the 2-story Boone Road home they found fire in the kitchen and that the smoke alarm failed to activate. Firefighters put the fire out quickly – the cause is under investigation by the Maryland State Fire Marshal.

Damage is estimated at $30,000.
