Construction at the Easton Airport continues. This is to enhance the safety and operational efficiency of the airport facilities – and bring the airfield into compliance with current FAA standards.
Full closure of the airport has been delayed – currently Runway 15/33 is closed for rehab – to fill cracks, seal filling and a new paint job. Runway 4/22 is open for arrivals and departures ONLY – no VFR Pattern work is permitted (no touch & go, stop & go or low approach). Also – portions of Taxiways A, B, D and E are closed – expect to taxi via Taxilane T (Ramp area between Terminal Building and Easton Jet). The section of Taxiway B between Runway 4/22 and Taxiway A is now open. Check NOTAMS for the most up to date information.
IMPORTANT: Taxilane T is located on the Non-Movement area of the Ramp. The Control Tower has an obstructed view. Please use extra caution while operating in these areas.
Once the rehab is completed on Runway 15/33, Runway 4/22 will close until the Friday before Memorial Day weekend. The full closure of the airport has been delayed and will be rescheduled after Memorial Day. The full closure will last a maximum of 4 consecutive days – likely between May 26th and June 8th.
