El Salvadoran Ambassador Visits Ocean City Talking Jobs with Mayor and other State Officials

Ocean City Mayor Rick Meehan along with representatives from the State of Maryland on Friday met with H.E. Milena Mayorga, the Ambassador from El Salvador. The meeting, which took place at the Roland E. Powell Convention Center, was in collaboration with the Greater Ocean City Chamber of Commerce to provide the Ambassador and her Consul an overview of workforce opportunities for Salvadoran citizens – with an emphasis on H2B visa opportunities and the prospects for a seasonal workforce between Ocean City and El Salvador.
