Ellendale Man Arrested on Felony Weapons Charges
An 18-year-old from Ellendale—Reginald D. Wright-McGlotten Jr.– is in custody after he was found to be in possession of a firearm at a diversionary class. On September 17th, Milford Police were called to People’s Place.聽 Officers found a handgun in a trash can inside the meeting room and identified Wright-McGlotten as the suspect. When police tried to arrest him, he resisted, but he was eventually taken into custody. He faces several felony charges, including: Possession of a firearm by a person under 21, Carrying a concealed deadly weapon, Resisting arrest, and Tampering with physical evidence. Wright-McGlotten was committed to the Department of Correction on a $104,000 cash bond. He is scheduled to appear in the Kent County Court of Common Pleas for a preliminary hearing.
