An Ellendale man has been arrested by Delaware State Police after a domestic assault and pursuit Saturday morning. Police were called to the Red Mill Inn in Lewes around 8 Saturday morning and contacted a female victim who said she’d been physically assaulted by 36 year old Timothy Rossi – who was gone from the scene. A Milton Police officer tried to stop Rossi on Front Street, but he refused and took off leading police through Georgetown and Ellendale before stop sticks were used to disable Rossi’s vehicle in Ellendale. When Rossi was arrested, he was found with marijuana and ammunition which he is prohibited from possessing. Rossi is charged with multiple offenses including 1st degree assault, resisting arrest, strangulation and more. He’s being held at SCI in default of over $205,000 cash bail.
