User 284190339 · 04-23-26 Fishing Report Wednesday morning saw small craft advisories up with rain showers forecasted in the afternoon. Lewes Harbour Marina told me no boats fished the open waters of the ocean or Delaware Bay or the sheltered waters of the Lewes and Rehoboth Canal. Dan at Dan’s Tackle reported a few stripers caught from Broadkill Beach earlier in the week on bloodworms or bunker and a few black drum taken on sand fleas. Steve at Smith Bait in Leipsic said the stripers being caught at Augustine Beach, Collins Beach and Woodland Beach are true trophy fish running over 40 inches. Fish in the 28 to 31-inch slot are rare. Bunker and bloodworms remain the best baits. Right now, crappie fishing is excellent for those who fish with a minnow under a bobber at Garrison’s Lake. This is Eric Burnley with your Talk of DelMarVa fishing report
