Felton Man Arrested for Shooting at Vehicle on South DuPont Highway in Dover


Dover Police have arrested a Felton man for a shooting that occurred last Thursday on South DuPont Highway.
Through the investigation, and with the assistance of the Delaware State Police, 25-year-old Jaquan Lewis was identified as a suspect and warrants were obtained for his arrest. At the time warrants were obtained, Lewis was being held at SCI on charges related to a separate arrest. Lewis was arraigned while at SCI and committed on $106,100 cash bail on charges including Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Felony and two counts of Possession of a Firearm By a Person Prohibited. He was also charged with Reckless Endangering First Degree and Criminal Mischief Under $1,000. Late Thursday night, November 27th, the shooter fired at a vehicle on South DuPont Highway, leaving the driver unharmed but causing damage to the car.
